The flagship food, wine and drink festival of Martha's Vineyard, the MVF&W Festival stays rooted in the Island's rich tradition of farming and fishing, inviting you to meet local culinary talent, and the farmers, fishermen, oyster producers, and artisans they work with—adding guest chefs and vintners from around the world for a unique to the island celebration.

Thursday, October 24th
All The Food That’s Fit To Eat
2pm – 3:30pm
Please join us for stimulating conversation about cooking culture, food media in the digital age, the life of recipes, and the transcendence of food stories in difficult times. Sam Sifton is the founding editor of NYT Cooking and writes about food for The New York Times Magazine. He has also served as the newspaper’s national editor, restaurant critic and culture editor. He is the author of “Thanksgiving: How to Cook it Well.”
Susie Middleton is the editor of cookthevineyard.com, a new digital publication from the Martha’s Vineyard Magazine. A four-time cookbook author, small farmer and popular food writer, she is the former editor-in-chief of Fine Cooking magazine.
A reception to follow features sweets and treats: the classic New York Black & White Cookie, the Vineyard’s Cranberry Crumble Bar and the Harbor View’s Roxy’s Rainbow Cookie developed by Roxana Chiu and prepared by Executive Chef Patrice Martineau. Cookies will be paired with dessert wines.

Executive Chef Alex Pineda got an early start in the kitchen as the son of legendary Boston Chef Lydia Shire. As Executive Chef of the renowned Boston restaurant, Scampo, Pineda's menu highlights Italian cuisine unrestrained by borders, drawing on flavors from the Mediterranean and Middle East. Join Chef Alex Pineda and the Harbor View Hotel’s Executive Chef Patrice Martineau for a six- course tasting dinner accompanied by incredible wine pairings.
Friday, October 25th
12pm – 1:30pm
Classic Maine? Connecticut hot buttered? What’s your favorite style of lobster roll? Amy Traverso, Yankee Magazine Senior Food Editor and co-host of public television’s Weekends with Yankee, hosts a lobster roll tasting prepared by Bettini’s Executive Chef Patrice Martineau, presented in three different styles.
An Evening with Daniel Boulud
7pm – 10pm
Critically-acclaimed Chef Daniel Boulud and his erstwhile protégé, Patrice Martineau, will collaborate on an intimate, five-course French dinner with pairings from Maison de Champagne Nicole Burke from Krug Champagne. The menu will feature locally-sourced ingredients, paying homage to the island’s fishermen, farmers and foragers.

Saturday, October 26th
A Taste of Japan
7pm – 10pm
Featuring the Acclaimed Cuisine of Bettini’s Chef Patrice Martineau. A five-course dinner highlighting the regional cuisine of Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya, Sapporo and Naha with a side by side sake and wine pairing to accompany each course.
Sunday, October 27th
Jazz Brunch at Bettini
Seating’s available at 10a.m. and 11:30a.m.
A lavish buffet featuring traditional brunch fare and a lively jazz trio. Champagne and bloodies.
